Golf Course

The paradise of a golfer has 18 holes and is green.

If you add to this an idyllic view of the sea from each hole then, the gameplay experience will be even more fulfilling. Designed by architect Andy Haggar according to the highest USGA standards, the San Domenico Golf is a magnificent Mediterranean course that measures over 6300 meters with a par of 72 and runs along the stunning rocky shores of the Adriatic coast.

Its strategic proximity to the sea further increases the challenge thanks to the presence of winds that, depending on the hole, play as allies or opponents in the game.

The course is perfectly integrated in the natural Puglian context: enriched with olive trees of rare beauty and dotted with the colors and scents of the typical Mediterranean Maquis such as thyme, rosemary and sage. Also the choice of the grass is very accurate: the bermuda for the fairways, the festuca for the roughs, while the greens are made with the classic pencross variety. A fast surface combined with not easy to tame slopes and strategic bunkers will offer all players the perfect terrain for the ultimate golf challenge.

This challenging course has been home to the PGAI Instructor Championship and home to the Italian PGA Championship. Great success for the Gran Final of the European Challenge Tour held for eight years in a row and home of the National Open Championship and many other National Amateur Tournament.
